Step 1) Start by choosing a Manufacturer of Storage Peripherals
Step 2) Choose the type of Storage Type you would like: RAID Array or Tape Backup
Step 3) Choose the case size:

RAID 10 (striped mirrors) = almost half capacity of disk qty x disk capacity
RAID 5 (striping with parity) =  capacity is almost (disk qty -1) x disk capacity

Consider whether or not you need a hot spare and subtract the hot spare disk.


A 2U unit will hold approximately 8 disks
A 3U unit will hold approximately 12 to 16 disks
 

Step 4) Next, choose the disk configuration for your machine.
Finally, press the "Continue" button to get to the desired quote page.
